on my 03 sedan i have noticed a knocking noise coming from my stillen cat back when i go over a harsh bump like a pothole on a freeway. I have also noticed an almost grinding noise when it rains and i hit a bump or pothole. When the gas pedal is pressed it sounds like the knocking under the arm rest, it sounds like the driveshaft is grinding on somethingor the exhaust is moving side to side and knocking on the underbody. The place that installed my exhaust never opened the packaging that came with it so I dont know if im missing any brackets or anything. any help is greatly appreciated.

 

i have the exhaust also, i think you should have it check. I think you shouldn't go to deal for this, just go to some bodyshop you know, and ask them to check it out.

 

after looking at some pic of the exhaust i think im missing the clamps that come with it. are the clamps there to keep it centered?
