06 350z mid-pipe on 04 g35 sedan

06 350z mid-pipe on 04 g35 sedan
Im wanting to install a 350z mid pipe on my sedan.
After doing some research ive found out the the g35 coupe mid pipe fits perfect. I'm have a hard time sourcing one for a decent price but have stumbled across the 350z mid pipe instead.
I know the pipe is slightly shorter then a coupe mid pipe. The info I'm running across is very inconsistent. I'm hearing 4in all the way up to 8in extension, can anyway give me a valid source. Where are you located? I'd sell you my couple mid-pipe that's just taking up space in my attic if you're reasonably close to Maryland.
If the info you're finding is inconsistent, then truly the best option is mount the 350Z mid and have a local muffler shop weld up an extension. FWIW I've always heard it was a 6" difference, but I haven't looked that stuff up in a while.
