Help with 5/16 Copper Isothermal Plenum Spacer

Hey guys,

anyone can help me figure out how to install this copper piece?

The original nipple plug for the coolant line is completely in the way. There is no way i can line it up with that in the way.

Ive went ahead and just installed the spacer and the thermal gasket.

thanks.

Put a screwdriver in there and carefully bend it out of the way. I think I actually just cut it off my upper plenum, but bending it should be fine.

^^^ I called Tony (Motordyne) and he said... bend it with a screwdriver in it. If it breaks I'll replace it... okay I said... bent no problems. Makes me wonder why it wasn't bent in the right direction in the first place lol.

I am wonder why there is zero information on the web-about this issue.

Especially in the damn instructions.

called motordyne and they never answer the call, left an email still have not gotten anything back for like 3 weeks.

I spent like 30min stressing trying to figure out what to do. re-reading the damn manual where it talks about installing the spacer and nothing.

Even the forums have zero info about the copper spacer install after all these years.
