Crawford High flo cat ... and others ???

hi guys,

I've done alittle searching and havent found the exact answer im looking for... perhaps YOU can help

I'd like to replace my stock cats with a high flo aftermarket but im concerned about a few things...

Raspy sound and failing emmissions

I've found (from user reviews) crawford is the best... no rasp, good performance and bolt on simplicity !

my concern is passing emmissions with the crawford. At no point has it been stated or mentioned the crawford will pass emissions. It has been stated they are to be used for off-road use only.

Next up are the kinentix (sp) cats. they may incur a raspy noise, they may occur minor mounting problems on the passenger side. They will however pass emissions.

anybody have problems with O2 sensor warnings with high flo cats ?

whats your thoughts guys, im leaning towards crawford but really need a confirmation ill pass emissions.

Thanks for your time

ppp

i love the sound with crawford cats coupled with aftermarket exhaust, no raspy sound at all. sometimes too loud for me when i'm not in the mood, but nice and deep overall. i had no problem with SES light. as far as emission goes, i did search on 350z forum and confirmed that it will pass the sniffer test, otherwise i would have purchased testpipes instead. it is illegal to replace cats other than stock but i don't get visual inspection in my area. hope this helps..

Thanks for the input guys !

I've contacted Doug today and placed an order for two crawford cats.

SocaliG35er hows that stillen engine dampener working...? from past readings it appeared unnecessary.

thanks
