Cold air intake HELP

Hello anyone who reads this. I'm new here and I wanted to replace the stock intake. I didn't want to buy it without knowing if it'll fit properly. I have an 04 g35 sedan. If someone can please help me out much appreciated.

Normally I'd just ignore a post like this but I gotta say something about this.

You're gonna get suckered big time...

$368 + $170 for shipping and handling is a SCAM for an upgrade that has very minimal gain potential.

The advertised +60hp and +40tq are A LIE!

Don't fall for this... if you want an intake that actually works well get the stock air box from a rev-up motor with a K&N drop in replacement filter and a Nissan 350Z z-tube, you can source the whole setup on eBay for about $200 if you wanted it tonight, probably less if you checked a few sources.

There are some decent other aftermarket options but the gains are in the range of +1-3 hp over the setup I listed and MANY aftermarket intakes are actually a power LOSS over that setup...

Hope this helps buddy.

With our VQ motors there are very little gains to be made with any intake! Fact is most will cause you major loss depending on the temp! If you want to change the intake sound of your ride the G-Tube will get that done! More and cleaner air (Google) AMSOIL drop in filter for their vendor! New here, read all the stickys at the top of the coupe/sedan pages! Have questions, use our Search!
Welcome to Driver, enjoy the ride...Gary

Thanks allot! I'll be getting the stillen z-tube and hi-flow intake kit. I wasn't looking for power I just wanted the engine to breathe a little better.

5/16" intake plenum spacer and high flow cat or test pipes, that will fix the two weakest links in the system.

I don't know man for over $500 you will get this "Air filter element is explosed" , this "One-piece steel heat shield/air box with massive air filter" and this " maxinum airflow". Seems like it might be worth all that coin.............

Good choice, I keep Stillen's CAI as a backup just in case Ca. regulations get any tighter...it comes with a CARB sticker and not effected by heat!

Once you have a few mods, the R2C intake is a good choice. But an intake first doesn't help much, you don't really need the extra air flow into the engine stock.

+1 on the R2C, it might not make power at first but it does sound pretty awesome.
