Sorry bud, everyone's right, it's garbage. If it was that cheap and simple and it really worked, the auto manufacturers would likely have them installed stock so they could advertise better EPA ratings.
The only way to tell if this thing truely gives better mileage is to do a constant load/throttle position test with and without. There are just simply too many variables just driving around for you to be able to tell a difference.

Especially on a car like the G35, where I can manage a 4mpg swing from tank to tank just be altering my driving style a bit. A lead foot is extremely costly, fuel-wise, in this car.

I'm running between 14 and 18.. 18 if I keep it down to 75 on the freeway and keep the revs low on acceleration (can't stay on the freeway for 100% of the tank, though -- so 18). 14 if I drive 85 on the freeway and make the tach needle dance in the streets.
