Done With Injen!!!

Ok as some of you know I post about a month ago that my Injen exhaust is still blowing glass. Car has about 7000 miles on replacements and there is still glass on my bumper! I called Duy at Injen a month ago and was told to give it another month and if it doesnt stop by then he would send new replacements. WELL called him today and said its still doing it. He said that they opened up the new pipes and they were ok so I must still need time for them to break in. He also said cause Im in cali we have dry air and that it takes longer! Kind of funny cause this is winter and we've had a TON of rain this year!!! All in all they pretty much said tough. I asked how much new replacements were and was told they cant sell them. After talking to him a bit he said he would try and get a price togeather! Im going to just sell the system cause Im DONE with the glass. But in order to do so I need new replacements! NEVER AGAIN!!!

I must be the only person whom has not suffered this problem. Good luck selling the exhaust. Get the Fuji so I can live vicariously through you.

That's the lamest excuse I've ever heard. If that was the real case Injen owners in Arizona where humidity is much lower than in California would have been suffering big time.

Thumbs down

Here is my opinion:

I have posted my replys on this same issue of fiberglass stilling blowing out of my replacement primary pipes. I live in L.A. and we have had about 5 - 10 days of sun since last Thanksgiving. Just rain, rain and more rain. Injen's response is a lame excuse for the problem. The fiberglass issue seems to be getting worse for me, and I was one of the first to get the replacement primary pipes a long time ago. Time or weather has nothing to do with it.

It's simple - "my" Injen SES 1992c is the "worst" aftermarket exhaust system I have ever purchased for my cars! I'm very disappointed with Injen's lack of quality with this system. I try to forget about it, but every time I walk up to my car and see fiberglass particulars on my black paint, I get p***ed. I would never by another Injen product and will go out of my way to tell my friends to go with another brand. I can't wait to throw my SES in the garbage and install the new HKS system.

Guys,
Same story here. Injen (Duy & Ryan) said give it some time, another month or so. Well, I've had it installed since December and the fiberglass issue is still present. I love the way the exhaust looks and performs, but how about standing behind your product? Customer Service? Product Recall?

I didn't think Infiniti / Nissian offered a Laser Red Metallic bumper and trunk.

I feel the same way. I'm about to install my 2nd set of replacements. If it happens once more I'm done and HKS will be next.

I'm sorry to hear you guys are having problems with Injen. I dealt with Duy when my engine failed and the dealer tried to blame my Injen CAI. Duy totally backed their product and went so far as to email me some A/F ratio data. When I told the dealer that Injen had my back, they kinda went limp. Hopefully Injen will do something to remedy your problems. Where is the fiberglass coming from anyway?

Sounds to me like the whole "send replacements" idea has run it's course, if the products are still crap it's time for them to start handing out refunds!
