Borla break in

Hi all, I installed a Borla exhaust on my sedan 3 days ago. I was wondering how long it took for the system to "break in". I haven't found an answer through searching and was hoping someone had some insight. Thanks in advance.

There might be some coating that will burn off, but basically what you hear is what you get. It has been my experience that the exhaust note does not change much over time.

After a week of installation the exhaust should be completely broken in, considering that you drive the G everyday. I have an HKS and after a week with it installed I noticed the tone got more aggressive and the acceleration was quicker. Got any sound clips or any pictures of your G with the Borla? Post them yeah? I wanna see

The sound appeared to mellow after some weeks but that's probably just me getting used to it. Enjoy!
