I'm thinking about ordering this exhaust. My question is, is this application worth it considering I have an auto coupe and am not going FI? Will I get any power gains? Thanks.

The only problem I see here is that it The HKS hi-power tend to sound a bit and with your car been auto I don't think It'll sound to good.

Do you mean you think it'll be too loud?

I have it on my auto, and it sounds great. Not too loud at all, no droning sound and you could hear it only on throttle. Best exhaust I ever had IMO. Looks great too.

I agree with 1Gig, the HKS hi power has an awesome sound at wot and a very respectful sound when normal driving.

Thanks for your response. Do you feel any low end loss of power?

No, not that I can say I noticed any. But I do feel some more horse on the high end.

Ohh,,, snap I totally forgot about your Install instructions Gig. This is what ended up happening though. The day after I asked for the instructions, my computer crashed, but the good thing is that the HKS arrived right after my comp died. Two big @ss boxer at my door step, I was so happy it was like Christmas, but in May. So, that Saturday morning I took my G to the hobby shop on the military base and lucky for me there was a lift available. The install was a breeze! The total time it took me to install was 1 hour. Anybody can do this install all you need is the right tools and some common sense. Thanks very much for the HKS install instructions 1Gig!! You should sell your install instructions to HKS.. Haha.

I wouldn't mind having a look at your docs/instructions (I had mine installed at a local shop a few weeks ago, but I'm curious nonetheless.)

Thanks.

Has anyone dyno'd this exhaust on an 05' 6mt? I want to get it, but not sure how much of a performance effect it will have, due to the changes on the 05 engines. Also, are the mating flanges the same? In other words, is the fitup exactly like the 03/04's? Thanks guys

Mine should be in soon. Does anyone have the Crawford Cats/HKS Hi-Power exhaust combo I am getting? How you like it?

Yep, I do, and I like it. Maybe just a little bit louder than I wanted, but a good loud. In other words, I like the quality of the sound, but just a little too much quantity.

Idefinitely like the power gain and how it looks, though, and would do it all over again.

How long have you had your high flow cats from crawford? Did you have any problems with the CEL (Chech engine Light) coming on???
