Flowmaster on the coupe?...

was wondering if anyone has seen/heard one, i had an MR2 previously and i pretty much said screw it, and put in flowmaster on it. the result was beautiful, sounded so nice, and everyone envy'd it. was wondering if anyone has ever seen a coupe with them?

Ummmm, if you plan on putting a Flowmaster on a G35, go ahead and put it on blocks in your front yard and let the grass grow real tall.

If you plan on doing performance mods, read the modifications forums and see what everyone else is doing.

You've got a G35 now, it's time to step it up with the performance mods.

Remember, let's keep the level of quality up high. Don't give us G35 drivers a bad name. Leave that stuff to the ricers and Mustang drivers (no offense to all the Mustang drivers, because I love the new Shelby Mustang!).

Actually I do have a Flowmaster on my car right now. It's one that was for the last camaro. Everyone that hears it says it sounds Exotic like ferrari. I will be getting rid of it soon. SKUNK 2 is prototyping an exhaust. I'm happy with the flowmaster. Looks like $hit but flows, sounds good. You be the Judge and forget what others say. Peace, David

I have heard sound clips and thought it sounded very nice. You're not going to see huge gains from an exhaust anyway, so you might as well go for sound. You can just weld your stock tips on and it should look fine. I say go for it, not everyone has 1k to drop for an exhaust.

Thumbs up Flows

I agree.

My friend had a Flowmaster on his Honda Prelude. It sounded very nice,
surprisingly.

People think that Flowmasters are just for domestics, but it actually sounds
just as nice as any other import exhaust. The only thing is, it doesn't come
as a cat-back exhaust. It only comes as a muffler, which you then have to
take to a muffler shop to have welded on.

I think if some random import shop with a mandrel bender decided to make
a cat-back exhaust system using the Flowmaster muffler, no one would really
notice a difference. It might actually sound BETTER than most import fart-cans.

wow, this post really stands out to me as asinine. especially the section i put in bold... what you're saying is basically "be a sheep and do the same mods everyone else is doing".

also, i wouldn't consider exhaust (especially axle-back or cat-back) to be a "performance mod", but more of a change in the sound.

btw, it's just a 30something thousand import, not some fancy schmancy exotic.
