exhaust cavity... does it reduce performance ?
hi guys,
always wondered after the injen was installed...
does the large section (where the oem muffer was) reduce performance due to a created air dam ?
and if so any recommendations to fix it (besides putting the stock or catback on) ?
thanks

My opinion was, when I bought my exhaust, was yes. This was one of the reasons I stayed away from the Ingen, and went with the Invidia G200. As for what you can do about it, I have no idea. The stock exhaust did add to the aerodynamics of the car, and removing it, does create an aerodynamic problem, as you have stated.
My invidia, with the dual path muffler in the stock position.

i guess i could spend some time and fabricate something then have it chromed... or better yet fabricate something out of 304 stainless steel to match the exhaust = no rust... either way not fun.
