Single Exhaust for Coupe

I couldn't find any single tip exhaust for Coupes..

I am kinda tired of dual exhaust and I would like to try 3' Fart can..
Anyone have any idea? I think I saw 350z in the magazine with CF covered single.

just get custom piping. a tad bit more expensive but if you want it it can be done. bc on my civic i ran full 3 inch pipeing from the down pipe to the fat apexi n1. just buy a used exhast if you dont have one already and just do the piping.

If you're looking for single tip exhaust, I believe DC Sports makes one as does JIC, the Spartan DE Type 1 straight exit found on performance nissan parts.

Gotta love the ignorance from the older folks on board... "fart can".. wow. Such a term was coined for the $30 mufflers thrown on hondas... Too bad it ruined it for us that actually have a motor and a quality muffler that sounds nothing like a "fart."

Idiots.

what's the plus of having a custom 3" exhaust instead of a dual?

well, if you want to get technical, coupes don't have a dual exhaust (i hope you knew that - and were comparing it to a true dual). right now the diameter being 2.5" has a surface area of just under 20" of a stock setup, and the 3" exhaust (provided the mid-pipe was modified - most likely) has a surface area of over 28". a true dual obviously has a surface area of 39", which may be too much for the application, and it brings a whole lot more weight than the single pipe which looks much lighter than stock to.
so i just rattled off 3 reasons why it could be better.
and a fourth, because it looks way different than everybody elses.

My apologies for being ignorant above. I honestly thought the thread was started as a joke and the pic above was photoshopped! I guess I am the only one that thinks that looks ridiculous, but hey, everyone has there own opinion and can do what they want to their cars. Sorry guys...I truly thought this was a joke......

i have a single, its the JIC Spartan Titanium 3" single exhuast, made for the 350z, i had to get it cut and welded so it would come out at less of an angle and so it would hook up to my APS downpipe, it looks and sounds good.

some of the guys on this board hate the 'ricer' concept. but, this is all function... no form... it's ugly for a reason... it works. which is why i like it. the exhaust the coupe is running is more 'ricey' in that it has two exhaust tips for one pipe. how is that not 'rice'. putting something in place that has no function at all - just for looks. like that spoiler on a front wheel drive car, right?

these are the exhausts that people put on their cars in japan. this is kind of exhaust i had on my skyline and 180sx. form over function.

look at the pipe itself, looks like one bend, and a slight one at that. then look at your own. you tell me which one is more effective.
