Hey guys, just wondering if anyone has put a dual exhaust on a sedan. Not the Stillen True Dual Exhaust, but one with dual mufflers like the coupe. I guess what I really want is just the nice rumble that comes from the coupe/FX. Ideas?

 

This has been discussed several times.
The coupe muffler would def not work, just not enough space under the trunk.

That said I would love that set up as well.
You would have to do a mirror image muffler setup on the opposite side.
However. there is one main issue.

Infiniti chose to locate the gas vapour canister & solonoid etc.
in the cavity where the muffler would go.

It would be a major modification to relocate those items &
likely not possible.


Otherwise, there was one member (don't remember) that did a custom job.
He routed a pipe back & arround the out the right side.
Not very practical or performance enhancing.
Also, pretty messy under the car.
