350Z intake on sedan?

Will the 350Z intake work on the G35 sedan? If so how much hp gain and how will it sound?

Suggest you refer to Rumble's 7/12/03 thread and mbarrad's 7/06/03 thread below. Both threads have pictures of 350Z air intakes on G35 engines.

Sound is more aggressive and HP gain is ???

Well that not the 350Z intake he has if I am not mistaking he has the stillen intake and the 350Z duct.

You're right. I was thinking air duct, not the whole system.

While the 350Z's air duct from the MAF sensor to the throttle body works, I don't think the Z's airbox will.

The external dimensions of the Z's airbox may fit the G35, but the air supply hole would be blocked by the radiator bulkhead.

When I had my Sedan's airbox out, I took a quick look and didn't see an easy way to modify the bulkhead, move the (AC?) lines, etc. Guess it could be done with enough time and money, but it didn't seem worth it to me.
