Stillen Vs. HKS Hi Power

My birthday is coming up and i decided to scrape together the money for a cat back exhaust for my Auto IP 05 Coupe. Now my question is in terms of sound does Stillen or HKS Hi power have a more aggresive tone?? I know in terms of power gains, HKS is a little better but if im not going to feel the difference anyway, which exhaust should i get based upon sound??...I have narrowed it down to these 2 but if any1 has any other suggestions i would deeply appreciate it. I want a deeper sound than stock. Thanx to all in advance.

Ever since I got my '05 6MT Coupe, I have been looking to deepen the exhaust note. After I heard the HKS Hi-Power, I didn't give it a second thought. It's an excellent sounding exhaust and works perfectly for my taste. Good luck and have fun with your new exhaust when you do finally decide.

Oh, btw . . . An early "Happy Birthday!" to ya.

Probably HKS

I have had my Stillen exhaust for about 3 weeks now, and almost wish I had gone with the HKS. The stillen sounds very much like stock except under hard acceleration which it does have a more aggressive note but still not very loud. I almost have to roll my windows down to really hear the sound. I hear from others that it does get louder the more you drive the car. So I guess I will just have to put more miles on it to see if that is true.

Thanx i am leaning toward Stillen only because i would rather save a couple of hundred $ and possibly get a pulley kit. But HKS looks just amazing...decisions decisions decisions.

According to stillen's website, you would only be saving $100 bucks off of our current HKS HI Power GB.. the choice is yours..

Never seen a pre/post dyno of either system but the 3 highest dynos I've seen all had the HKS among other mods.
