Quick question...NA engine with HKS exhaust + test pipes... too much loss of backpressure or better performance with test pipes? No converter requirement in Fl.

I had mine installed yesterday, and I'm not totally sold on it yet sound-wise. It sounds like a cross between a crotch rocket without a muffler and a broken down tractor.

And as far as the "butt dyno" goes, I haven't noticed anything major.

I presonally love the sound and look of my hks. I havent noticed and major performance differences but it just sounds so nice. As far as getting it, i lucked out and my local dealer (lokey infiniti) had 1 in stock when i wanted to have mine put on. It certainly wasnt the cheapest, but i only had to drive up there and have them bolt it on... no ordering or waiting for it to be shipped. In any case i'm very happy with mine (had it for about 8-10k miles), so happy infact that i'm seriously looking into having the same exhaust put on the 300zx tt.

OK... It's official...

I love it.

It took a few days of courtship, but I have fallen in love with it--especially, at WOT as previously mentioned. I thought I loved it only for its looks, but I love it on the inside as well.

Thank you to Mike and his crew at Advanced Motor Sports in Lake Forest, CA!

Sound clips. These aren't mind so I hope Glex25 doesn't mind.
