Like the title says, I've been a looking for before/after dyno for the very popular Crawford cats and have not been able to find one - anywhere. I thought for certain it would be on this board somewhere???

Can anyone assist please? I would like to see some documentation about where it makes/loses power on the rpm band...

I second that bump. Would love to see a before/after on these or any aftermarket cats.

 

Like many mods (y-pipe, cats, UDP) on here, there aren't any before after dynos. Most of the gains are from butt dynos. I think Trey saw a little drop in ET after adding some high flow cats to his 05 6MT.

 

$500 for a performance part and no dynos? The MD spacer is less than 1/2 the cost and there are dynos up the wazooo. I just figured people would ask for dynos before buying or would at least test it afterward to make sure it actually helped...

Well I spent another hour on Google looking at various posts, etc. The only claim I could find with actual numbers was neffster telling someone else that they could "expect" 5-10 rwhp but he only dyno'd with multiple mods (as I recall he specifically mentioned 10-20 rwhp with Crawford plenum and cats together, with headers possibly adding 20 more at peak).

I am much more interested in low to mid range torque figures, so this has been a futile exercise.

No actual dyno plots to be had... so I am giving up for now. This mod can wait!
