Doesn't look like any Nismo intake I've seen. Shouldn't it be black?

what you guys think off this?

From Nissan Motorsports for the Infiniti G35!
This Cold Air Intake features polished aluminum intake tubes with the G35 logo.
Dyno proven to give your G35 +14 horsepower at the rear wheels.
This Cold Air Intake will fit both the coupe and the sedan, Automatic and Manual Transmission.
I can tell you without knowing anything about it........ NO, it's NOT worth it.
I would not pay that much for any CAI. Your money is better off going towards a Stillen Air Box or some other mod for your car.

thanks, i am going to go with z-tube 100% just thinking either regular dropin K&N or Stillen box. Stillen looks more stock since box is covering the most.

I think if you open the hood and look at the stock airbox, the filter element can be clearly seen. In fact, the filter element is facing right into the airstream. On top of that, there is an extra airscoop to direct fresh, cool air into the box. If that isnt about as "cold air" as it gets, I dont know what is. Save your money. If you absolutely must do something, just get a K/N for $45. At least you will never have to buy another air filter.

That's one part of it....What about (if ya open the hood and look at) the huge baffle box on the bottom of the stock intake tube that extends down and along the port side of the engine(not to mention the equally huge baffle on the bottom of the stock air box on the inside of the port fender well) Toasty huh? Guess it's there to help warm up that mean old cold air, or maybe keep that 's m o o t h' flow of air unimpeded by unnecessary bends and bumps....no??? Well, at least ,if nothing else, it helps keep it quiet.....nice and quiet....shhhhh.04' G35X, Brilliant Silver,"Padded" (Metal Matrix) by Stillen" "Full 'X' Cat-Back" by Stillen, "Aloomie Pedals" by Inf., "Popped" by Wolf, "Pullied" by UR,"Tubed" by Z,"D-Badged" by me, "Clear Cornered" by JDM, 05' "Tails" by Inf., "Tall Boy Plenum" by APS, well "Grounded" by Gordgee., 35% Silver Reflective tint.
