E-Bay Test Pipe

I have been looking for some cheap test pipes and have found some on e-bay for 50 bucks. They are the same pictures as the megan ones advertised for 120$. I just want to know if anyone has purchased test pipes off of
e-bay? Also is it bad to run test pipes with nitrous? I was just thinking since i am messing with the fuel mix because of the o2 sensors being out of wack if i would run more lean than usual. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thank you.

Well I took the risk! I got them in and Im shocked! The tig weld looks as good as any other brand out. The inside welds were ground clean. I would give them a 10 out of 10. Very nice product!

I searched for some on Ebay, but I saw a few of them. Can you give me a direct link to the one that you bought?

And by the way, how are they? Performance wise..

Thanks,
Jeff

Its just a pipe. So they will all have the same material and look and will do the same.

Any TP without resonator will be good. Performance wise you will loose some low end torque but will get good gain from 3.5+k

Be warned... rasp is relaly bad without resonators

Well, the fit and finish quality of the product might vary a little so I want whatever G352NV got since he rates them 10/10.

Rasp will be non-existent if your planning on FI with the test pipes.

I was thinking of going cheap and getting some megansracing straight test pipes from ebay, but after reading all the threads on my350z about the pipes cracking at the welds, I decided against it. Honestly, the megan racing pipes look good. Their construction looks solids and welds look clean, so I don't know how so many people have had them cracking. I'm personally going with some labree resonated test pipes for my Vortech coupe. I don't want to deal with cracking once I put it in and have to worry about pushing it hard with cheap test pipes. The non-FI guys might be ok with ebay pipes.

Just got my Topspeed headers, Topspeed Y-Pipe, and Megan test pipes in. All of it looks top notch, so they'll be going in soon...
