Walbro makes some good fuel pumps, try doing a search on the part number or consult with a vendor. As for adjustable fuel pressure regulators, I'm partial to Aeromotive. I believe Nismo makes a universal afpr too.

One of the best Wide Band logging systems I found is the DynoJet Wide Band Commander, it's cheaper than more sophistacated software/hardware wide band systems. It's commonly used on superbikes in conjuction with the power commander, because bikes are super sensitive to air/fuel mixtures. I've seen them used on a few cars as well...so its versitile. So with those items, just setup your static fuel pressure regulator, data log from your Wide Band, and make fuel adjustments from there with just a twist of a screw give or take a psi or two.
This still does not give you control over your A/F ratios and timing and would still cost you several hundred dollars by the time its all said and done and yeild very little results IMO.The only way to extract good power out of a NA Z or G is to tune for it.Two years ago we experimented with a piggyback similar to the UNI-Chip and were able to tune out NA Z to almost 300WHP.The car ran 13.1' with only headers,exhaust,CAI,pulley...Tunning is key,but bumping fuel pressure is not the way to do it,all it will do is spray more fuel through you injectors at an unkown and unctroled ratio as opposed to being able to adjust the injectors puls widths and scaling along with timing advance...Just my .02

How's the quality on those? From pics they look very similar to the Megan and Topspeed parts that I've just recently purchased...

it's making up for whats being lost. besides, oversizing injectors and setting the afpr to full blast would be dumb.

You dont need to oversize the injectors, you control the IPW's in milliseconds therefore adding more fuel, you also do notneed to change the fuelpump on N/A applications at that power level. So there fore increasing Fuel Pressure with no control over the injectors would be dumber....

What piggy back system allows full control of fuel and timing (advancing) at different engine load/rpm's?

The Emanage Ultimate,Utec, and Uni-chip do all the corrections needed...We even experimented with the Perfect Power SMT6 a while back with good results..Tunning is key on the VQ motor, this is irrelevant to how some people feel or what certain vendors are selling or not selling. All of the testings we have done showed that the VQ motor responded well to tunning for the mods on each car specifically..Hope this helps..
