Cat replacement pipes

Does anyone want to buy my stainless steel cat replacement pipes for the G35 coupe. I only had them on the car for about 2 weeks. They still look new. They were just a little too loud for me. I paid $233 for them shipped. I would sell them with free shipping anywhere in the continental USA for $175.

Re: Cat replacement pipes

How to heck did you get the old cats out?
The top nuts look like impossible to reach.
Is this a do it yourself job?

thanks,
rob

Re: Cat replacement pipes

It's a tight reach but it's doable. I have done it twice now.

Re: Cat replacement pipes

Nice workmanship!
Any power gains or was it just louder?

Re: Cat replacement pipes

It's not objectionably loud but was just louder than I wanted. I had no problems with the O2 sniffers. I don't know what you mean about the steering control. I just used a universal swivel on the socket wrench and snaked it in there to both remove the cats and replace the pipes. I've done it twice now.

Re: Cat replacement pipes

The unofficial "butt-o-meter" though it felt some power gains.
