Best Way To Get Low End Power

Whats up guys I just recently got a new 03 g35 6mt coupe, I have searched and looked through a lot of different threads but I havnt been able to find a solid answer. I have noticed that my G seems to lag a little bit when it comes to low end and once it gets to about 4-4.5k rpm the power seems to kick in nicely. I just wanted to know what the best way to get some more torque. I'm considering the z-pipe/k&n route but dont really know what it is or how it works. Also thinking about getting an intake if so wich ones are best. I also want to put some headers while im at it, so any feedback would be great. Thanks.

well.... most of the mods will increase your mid range power, but will take away your low unfortunately... if you get exhaust, intake, hfc, they all tend to take away your low range..... unless you stay with a y pipe for the exhaust (don't do TD, true dual,) if you really want low end boost......go stillen super charger....a little expensive, unforgivable hood, but it'll kick!!!! good luck....

I will go out on a limb here and say that the Gen2 Stillen catback will give you some very nice torque gains. Headers will add some too, but a real PITA. For my money, the Stillen catback with resonated testpipes is the best bang for the buck (short of NOX of course).

a short ram intake yields better low end power over a CAI. majority of times, you can keep low end by not using a true dual exhaust.

so the nismo exhaust is that TDE or no, cause i was listening to some sound clips and that one sounded best to me. How about a different intake manifold? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Kinet...26671999QQrdZ1
Dont knof if that one is any good but looks pretty crazy.

If your staying NA, don't get a TDE. You'll loose your lowend power, but gain topend in it's place.

I would look into the MREV lower intake and spacer. Headers will help with torque also. Underdrive pulleys I would stay away from unless you have your idle rpm raised up because you can get into charging issues with them if they slow your alternator down too much.

Not True - a search might reveal that this has never been reported.
