Would I have to get the ECU reprogrammed after their install (i.e., would it run too lean, etc...) or for minimal mods (intake, plenum, grounding, pullies) would I be fine w/o a reprogram (I ~think~ it has to be done with test pipes, but not certain about headers)

 

you will be fine without a ecu reflash

 

excellent, now i just have to decide - headers or rsr gt2 exhaust.....or maybe both ^_^

 

I'd go headers over exhaust if you're looking for performance. Exhaust over headers if you want the sound. But doing both would be ideal.

 

quick (and stupid) related question - when would i need to have the ECu reflashed? If I went with high flows cats or test pipes as well as headers?

 

i say you reflash when your finished installing everything

 

but who knows when that could be ^_^

besides, i've read that certain mods, e.g., test pipes, force you to reflash or else you run really lean and chance damaging the engine
