headers

Hi guys, I'm thinking about replacing my stock headers and am currently leaning towards either Strup or a pair of Borla exhuast. Has anyone had any experience with either of these headers? Power gains and ease of installation or anything you feel would be useful advice would be much appreciated

cheers

I don't have first hand experience with any headers, but a local shop manager was telling me recently that of the three sets of borla headers they have installed & dyno'd on 350z, there were zero gains, anywhere in the rpm range.

Take it for what you will.

I have heard the same about Borla headers, no gain from them.

I have heard good things about Strup on both this forum and my350z. That would be my choice for a header.

i don't understand why people suck Crawford's nuts........at almost 3x the price of Strup and 2x the install cost....why.....it's not like they give +40rwhp/tq more, lol

i agree...but people charge what they want as long as there are people who are willing to pay that price...paying more for a part doesnt make it a better part

Dont forget Alphawerks, I just picked up a pair for $500, beautiful set of headers. Hopefully I can get them installed this weekend, and I'll post a follow up review

+1 for Strup!
Hook it up with Dave at partshippers.com Tell him Chris Billete referred you.

The installation (1st time) took my Dad and I a while...we did a lot of contemplating on what things we need to do. If I were to do the Strup install...time would be cutdown significantly. All you need is some patience...and if you do decide to go with Strup...I can give you a few pointers on the install.
