Skunk2 plenum spacer with 350z lower pleanum?

Hey guys,

got a quick question, one of my buddies got a skunk2 plenum spacer for his 05 350z but he wanted to sell it to me because he wants the MD spacer package for the 05 model engines. im just wondering will this spacer fit on my g? also he said if i get his lower plenum i would get more power becasue of how our lower plenums are diffrent designs. im just wondering if this is true or am i better off just getting a MD spacer.
thanks in advance..
mike

skunk2 is junk

i wouldn't trust him about the 350z plenum - i've NEVER heard of anybody swapping them before

It looks like your buddy is tryin to the MREV mod which consist of the lower plenum from non-revup motor (287hp) + the MD spacer.
If you have the 287hp and use the plenum from his 300hp engine, you might gain power at the top end but you'll lose some at the low end. My advice is to keep your plenum and just get a spacer
BTW the 287hp plenum has longer runners than the 300hp plenum but both 350z and g35 are the SAME VQ motor hence most parts are interchangeables.

He actually got a stock "REVUP" lower collector on his non revup engine.
And its worse than a waste of time. Its a big waste of horse power.

You can see the differences between the spacers and other plenum mods by going to the "Dyno" page of our website.

The 5/16" and 1/2" dyno differently. Which is best depends on how you typically drive. Its all shown on the website.
