which of the two is better? what would you buy brand new pro-1 for $250 or used alpha with 500 miles for $400? i'm not sure. ive seen alphawerks headers for 1000+ so 400 sound like a good deal but cautious about used ones

Get some pictures and check for kinked primary tubes or dinted collectors(I am doubting the collectors are dinted since the headers do not hang down.) You will not be able to tell if the header flange that bolts to the cylinder head is warped(but I don't think it should be) If everything looks good then go ahead and get them man. Don't be worried about used parts just check them out good first.

 

I wouldn't buy used headers I don't think, unless I saw some really good pics, at the very least...

 

When looking at the design of both headers. I honestly cant see the difference between the two. THe piping diameter and the bends are the exact same. Someone please correct me if im wrong. The length of the piping seems the same also.

 

neither can i - most of the designs out there are just copies of the more expensive ones like nismo.
