Just Ordered the Stillen Catback

I finally decided I have been mulling over this decision for way to long (and have looked at JustBrilliantX's install pics way to many times) so I ordered the Stillen catback.

I plan on doing a before and after dyno. Once done I will post the results for everyone to see. Any tips for a first time dyno'er?

I would like to hear it, and maybe check out the dyno when you do it, so keep us posted.....

I will be right behind you. While I'm not expecting much gain from a catback, I'm looking forward to the sound. This is one of our few choices as X owners...

I am not expecting tremendous gains either but ~8 hp would be nice. Then of course there is the sound, I really want something more aggressive. I asked Stillen if they had any of the old version still in stock but they told me they did not.

I think you will be impressed with the gains. Even though it may only be 8-10 HP on the dyno, the mid-range torque gain makes it feel like more.

Good deal . . . Stillen was my other choice. Enjoy!

You'll love the sound. Then you'll want to go FI.

You will certainly enjoy it. My favorite experience with this system was right after slapping it on. The first time I fired her up, I didn't believe the sound was coming from my car. I've had custom exhausts on my previous cars but nothing like this- it sounded like an exotic. I proceeded to rip it up through town with all the windows down...pure bliss!

LOL . . . Yeah, I have seen Boris ripping around town, unknown to him. His Stillen set-up sounds really good.

HeHe, that is exactly the moment I am waiting for. I ordered through everythingG35 to save a few bucks, now I almost wish I would have ordered it directly from Stillen because it would have been here faster.

Oh well, at least I can use the money I saved on some ramps for the install. Will Rhino Ramps get the car high enough off the ground for me to get under and install?

Just buy my exhaust for around $29,000 and I'll throw in my 11,650 mile old car and APS plenum
