I am on everythingg35.com and under the description for the JWT Pop Charger/Z Tube/Filter Oil Combo, it stats "Filter cleaner needed". Where can I buy this filter cleaner, at any local auto shop?

On the same intake page, I notice the Pop Charger Filter Oil. It states "This is the blue oil used to re-oil your filter after cleaning". Do I really need to buy this product or can I substitute this blue oil with something else?

 

you can use ANY intake OIL. reason they suggest the JWT one is beacuse its BLUE.. you can just go to your local autozone, kragen, pepboys or whatevers and pick up a can of K&N air filter oil. BUT remember it'll make your popcharger RED! lol. also fallow directions when reoiling..

1. wash the filter with water
2. let it dry completely
3. oil the cone or intake on the OUTSIDE
4. do not over spray a light coat will do
