Installed K&n intake but one problem.

Thanks for reading this.. I did search through the forum and could not find anything on this particular issue so I started this new thread. If I missed something just let me know all in caps or something...thanks. I just installed a K&N 697080TP on my wifes 2003 coupe 6m. A little bit of work but sounds great. The instructions have you take the wheel off and undo some bolts and pull down the valance in front of the tire. After I was all finished and was driving around the parking lot I can clearly hear a noise that sounds like a click when you tap on the gas and again when you let off the gas, going 3 mph or going 20 mph. I tightened the wheel nuts back fairly tight (as much as they were before I loosened them) Every component of the intake is tight and snug. I can't seem to figure out what it is. I took the wheel back off and retightened it, still no help. It really sounds like it's coming from the wheel, but I am no mechanic. Has anyone else had this same problem? Did I tighten the wheel nuts too tight? Or is there something that I am missing...Thanks in advance, any suggestions are appreciated.

lot of people with 03 seem to have the same noise, if its from the rear. Good luck.

Just a thought, Maybe you forgot to put the upper cover on correctly.

its not just 03. all the g35s do this. ther's a tsb. dealer will take care of it. have the dealer do both left and right, even if its only on one side.
