Probably lots of people asking same question but here's mine.
I have a 2004 G35 Coupe (non-Revup 280hp engine)
Therefore, I should only buy:
Copper Iso 5/16" Thermal Spacer kit (5/16" spacer, thermal gasket, TB heater)
M-REV Plus (actually just exchanging my lower plenum with their machined one?)
I do not need the M-REV kit itself as my car is a 2004 and only needs the plenum spacer to make it an M-REV, right? Then I exchange my lower plenum to gain maximum power for my 2004 engine (I don't want to do 1/2"). I feel like such an idiot but I don't want to buy the whole MREV kit if I don't need it, about $200 difference!

i wouldnt worry much about the not knowing issue. I recently started looking into this and have been speaking wit another sedan owner.
Best suggestion is call MD directly that is what he did and I think I will do the same. Best to get the info str8 from the horses mouth plus you won't get flammed bythe vets.

I just put the 5/16 spacer (no modifying plenum cover), ztube & popcharger on last night. Figured I do it all at once. It does make it more peppy and it sounds nice in the upper RPMs.
I like the stock exhaust and am going to put some high flow cats on next and then call it good for the engine. I think the rest is diminishing returns on the money. Unless you go Fuel Induction $$$$

Give Tony a shout. He is quite a personable guy to deal with. You will definitely be pleased with the Motordyne 5/16" ISO Thermal Plenum Spacer. Whether or not you wish to opt for the modified lower collector is up to you. I think that Tony has a thread here with regard to that very topic. Needless to say, Tony produces excellent products for the G/Z community, regardless of what you may opt to choose.
katana did his research. your solution appears correct and hopefully tony will come along this thread and verify it. you just need the machined lower plenum and a spacer i believe for maximum gains
I thought that MREV products were not compatible with 03/04 non-REVUP engines? Katana mentions buying the lower plenum (only?) from the MREV-Plus set as an upgrade. Is this even possible? Sorry for a potentially dumb question, but it doesn't seem to jibe with what I've seen on Motordyne's website and other threads on this site.

Talked to Tony on the phone yesterday, very nice guy. Can't get the m-rev plus by itself without buying the stock one included unless I sent my lower plenum in first.
they can't send you the m-rev plus (machined lower) one based on good faith that you will send your lower first. you get charged for full one to buy the m-rev kit but then once you send your clean pristine stock one in, they give you core refund.
the staff at MD answered all my questions, very professional. Definitely gonna order once I find a shop locally for install quotes and ask them to have it shipped there directly.
