Arrow Pi-Thon and Samco

well, i finally did it today and installed Pi-Thon Induction Hose Locks on a Samco Induction Hose. now, keep in mind that the Samco is for a 350z (part #TB1372), and you have to modify it anyway.

but wow, what a b*tch!! of course it isn't a perfect fit, and i had to cut a lot...i mean a lot of the Samco hose just to get the Pi-Thon's to fit! unless you want to cut into your $135+ induction hose, don't even try it. here's a pic of the 2nd go around of cutting. ouch!

if you want Pi-Thons, i got two of the 1AF-48SFB (short flange), although one of them should have probably been the 2AI-48 (Double Ring Air) for the throttle body.

oh by the way, total time to install was about 1.5hrs what did it add? absolutely nothing...but it does look better than the old hose clamps here are some more pics!

the curvature is just slightly off...when looking down at the engine, you'll see that the hose needs to curve a little more toward the right (driver's side) as it gets closer to the MAF housing. it'll fit, but with a little "agitation" (ie-trimming). you'll need a lot more if you want pi-thons...
