Hey... I apologize if this has been said somewhere before, but i couldn't find it. I'm tossed on getting a 5/16" copper iso-thermal spacer vs. 1/2". One important thing I want is a good sound.

Can anyone comment on the added engine sound (the good ones ) from the 5/16". Is there any noticable difference? Seems like the 1/2" would be my likely choice...

Didn't notice a thing. I don't think there is much change in sound.

 

Sound seemed a little bit deeper than stock. If you really wnt to hear the engine scream, do headres and hfcs as well.

 

yeah, like 99atlantic said.... i installed 5/16 spacer and engine purred with deeper tone... then i slapped on the hks sport muffler and the car roared deep... that's as much as i'll go for now...

 

Thanks for all your advice... def helpin me out. I have a Stillen exhaust on there now that I'm happy with, just want the little extra kick of sound ya know? But I'm glad to see that you're at least noticing SOME sound w/ the 5/16th.

 

I've noticed the induction noise is louder at WOT. Around town at part throttle I didn't notice anything.
