Installed my spacer today...

Well I got up early and installed my 5/16" MD spacer today, but it's raining out and I really can't test it out yet. It took about 2 hours to do, but I took my time and actually forgot to take the guide pins out, and didn't notice till the spacer was on and half the bolts were in so that set me back a little. Everything seems to be working today, but the idle while in drive was about 850 which is a little higher than normal. I only left the engine on for about 2 mins so it didn't warm up, so maybe that is why it is a little higher. I'll post a more thorough feel for the improvement once I really get to test it. Now it's on to picking out new wheels and tires.

Congrats on your spacer install. Sounds like everything went well at the end. Yes, when the weather dictates, take your G out for a good first impression test drive. The idling rpm should drop down when your car is fully warmed up. Enjoy!
