Talking Installed Stillen CAI & Z-tube

Oh Man I was not expecting that much of a difference in sound when you lay into the throttle. I expected just a slight difference in engine note but damn...This thing really growls now!!! Especially when you have the window down. I had a perma-grin right away. Totally worth it. I can't wait to get my MREV and Plenum on now. Just need to find the time to get that installed. And I'd like to second all of the complaints about that lower M6 bolt that goes where the A/C line mounts. That thing was a major B!ATCH. I think my airbox was formed a little off because I had to really push that thing to get the bolt to finally drop into the hole and it barely went at that. I'm not a big guy and my arms were all scraped up and irritated from the hour or so that it took just to do that part. I was about ready to give up when it finally went in. Not looking forward to cleaning the filter.

Is the slight hissing when you touch the gas normal with this mod? Just wanted to know in case I didn't do something right.

Yes, that slight hissing sound is all of that extra air passing through the throttle body. LOL . . . Wait til you install your Motordyne products. You'll need plastic surgery to remove the "Smile" off of your face. Enjoy!
