here is a thread on my350z. Not terribly technical in nature but it does speak to this topic a little.

Is the MREV++ making gains over a MREV+ on a REVUP?

First let me say that I don't have any of the Motordyne products on my 06 coupe yet, but will, sooner than later.

And the answer to your question is YES the new "++" will make more power across the band I'm betting, and it really addresses that 2HP loss up close to redline that had been there before with the REVUP engines and the spacers.

I must have spent 3~4 hours reading posts over the weekend on here and My350Z forum about the new "++". I'm expecting there will be word from Tony fairly soon.

I did not pay much attention on MREV++ until I read it today.......with spacer 5/16, you may expect 1 or 2hp over the previous MREV+ but i am very doubt.....cuz the spacer would clear up for both first 2 inlets......so there is no point of mine them down.....you rather want to put 1/2" spacer instead of......I'd like to see the results from out memebers and not from Motordyne.

I have an 05 G35 Sedan w/ revup obviously and installed mine today, v2 and the 5/16 iso thermal spacer, No before and after dyno though just not enough time in my schedule.

My uncalibrated butt dyno says whoa as did my 2 year old daughter from the back seat everytime I put it to it. Now if a 2 year old can feel the difference there is something there.

The documentation was easy to follow. I bought a torgue wrench for the jb and suggest anyone else planning this to do the same. The plenum is noticably cooler to the touch and when under power it sounds great. The car settled into the idle very quickly and every time I stopped it get right back to idle and holds there like a gold medal gymnist sticks a dismount.

I did the install this mornig before the kids and my wife woke up . It took me about 1.5 hours start to finish. I was missing one of the 70mm upper plenum bolts so count your parts before you get started. The locktite that tony provided was plenty for the job, BTW thanks Tony I forgot tobuy some at the parts store.

Since it is too early for beer I will double up on my intake later today at the Florida G35 Club mini-meet in Lakeland.

Oh I feel like I can get out of first gear better not. Before the install, maybe it was just me, I was a little herky jerky when taking off in first. Not sure if my foot was recalibrated when I did the ecu reset but it certainly is a welcome change.

I'm not sure what the MREV+ looks like but when I compared the MREV v2 with my 05 AT lower plenum, I see only the first 1 and 2 runners are modified and nothing more.

OR if anyone has an extra stock 10mm bolt for the lower collector (or know where to get one) I'm one shy.... but because I broke it not because tony forgot it.
