What are you talking about?

I said way overpriced and your telling me I am dead wrong? I don't call $1200+ for a header cheap.

And thats why its called my opinion.

I got Forced Fed headers for $499. Install only took the mechanic about 4 hours and will also fit a sedan, if that's a concern. Total cost was about $850 after taxes. My "after" dyno vs. my previous dyno showed good gains across the entire rpm range. It cost less money than most exhausts and I probably got better gains than most too. Well worth the money!

Here's a link to my review for more details:

Yep - You said "way overpriced". That means Overpriced for what your getting. And there you're wrong. Crawfords are hand made, Strupp, DC, AlphaWerks et el, are mass produced, and while better than stock, are not in the same league as the Crawfords. That's IMHO. Remember, you Get what you Pay for

Well, I give up. You guys buy a $40K Sports Coupe with potential, and then want to skimp on the header. That's fine with me. I've got the Crawford, and again, IMO, I made the correct choice. No doubt about it in my mind! You fellas save your pennies for

LOL, sorry but that much of a price difference for really no more power gain is not worth it. Alpha work headers are very good quality. Per a installer I know better quality than Crawford. He said the Crawfords are hard to get on the bolts because the bolts do not line up perfectly.

My bolts lined up perfectly. and the workmanship was excellent, so please don't try to go there. Crawford has always made quality stuff. BTW, Crawford doesn't use a plate at the exhaust flange side. each flange is individual to make mounting to the head easier, and the seal better. Better design makes a better header.

Excuse me, but I am going by what a performance shop told me. They have installed many of these headers and that is what they said. Sorry if they know better.

Crawford does make good quality stuff. But when I am told the shop has to make the bolt holes bigger to make them fit correctly that is a concern.

And still the point stands. It isn't worth $1000+ for a crawford for the gains headers provide PERIOD.

Your opinion, I respect that. But don't make it as a statement. My butt, and my dyno says you are dead wrong.
