Quad/Dual exaust on a G35 sedan?

I have read upon this many times and the answers seems to be no. But today on my way home I saw an 05 G35 sedan with quad exaust pipes that looked similar to what the M35/45 have. At first I thought the right ones were fake but I took a closest I could get and saw the cats of both exaust. When the drive floored it, the car had a distinctive sound that was almost 350Z like but much sweeter. So I want to know how did he get his exaust like that? Where I can get my exaust like that and sound more 350Z/G35C like(other than the coupes mid-pipe)? Thank you.

+1, there's no one out there right now that is advertising a dual exhaust/quad for the G sedan. It does look really good, hell even the altima 3.5 has quad/dual exhaust. That's definitely a custom job. I'm just curious to look underneath to see how the routed the other side. That would be interesting.

I have no doubt it is a custom job but I read countless times this is not possible as there is a block there from allowing that setup.

How did you see his cats? Did you get underneath the car? If so, how was he able to drive away?

I'm confused. I'm not calling BS or anything. Maybe you're using the wrong term. Exactly what *did* you see? The cats aren't visible unless you're under the car. The cats extend from the exhaust manifolds to the ypipe, one on each side of the transmission tunnel.

So, what did you see?

Is that a a real exaust or fake exaust? The one I saw looked like that except it the cats were visable from the sides. Plus the exaust was more M shaped.
