Question Need Window Tinting On Long Island - Any Recommendations?

I am in Nassau County but don't mind going into Suffolk or Queens to get this done. I want Formula One Pinnacle Series or Huper Optic non-metallic tinting. Any recomendations for a good shop in the area guys?

Go with Tom at theartoftint.com. You can mention Raja with the blue G35 recommended you since he has worked on my G numerous times (tint, untint, tint, untint, tint) and he has always done impreccable work. I have Huper Optik all around on my car (including windshield)

Thanks NYClio!

I actually have already sent an email to Tom at The Art Of Tint. This may be my best option since it is the closest to me. I am guessing his rear windows are done with 1 piece (no seam) judging by how professional his site looks and the dealerships he does work for.
What percetage tints do you have? Do you have any pictures of your car with the tints? I can't decide about what percentage to do. Either 40% all around or 40% on sides and 30% on rear window (as long as I can still see through to safely back up at night).

It might be easier to just call him - i always call - if you need the number let me know. I had 20% all around at first and 50% on the windshield (Llumar tint) but this made it difficult to see at night. So I had everything stripped off (also by Tom). He had scratched the windshield removing my windshield tint but replaced my entire windshield for me free of charge. I then went with 60% Huper Optik tint all around (including windshield) and it felt too light for me. I went back again, and Tom recommended that instead of stripping the tint again I should just add another layer of tint. So i added 50% (Llumar) on top of the 60% (Huper Optik) I already had (not the windshield though) and I liked the result.
Then a rock hit my windshield and cracked it, so I had to get it replaced and retinted again. I got 50% tint on the windshield this time. So in total I have 60 (Huper Optik) and 50 (Llumar) on the windows and rear glass and 50% (Huper optik) on the windshield and visibility is perfect. Thats how I know he'll remember me because he did my tint over and over. And everything is done in one piece. No seams. Of course it'd be easier to save all that headache and stick with 40% Huper Optik. I have a wheat interior so my tint doesn't look drastically dark but I like it that way since I didn't want my car to look too ghetto. Just word of advice - if you DO go to him - there is a detailer that works in his garage too (if you go to the one in the city) - stay away from that guy because he will rip you off. The pic below is 2 layers tint with the 60% windshield. (before it got cracked and replaced with 50%) Hope that helps.
