Debadging a slightly older car

I want to take of the INFINITI lettering on my trunk lid, but im afraid it may not look right if the paint around it is faded and the places were the letters were are not. The car has 78k miles, 2003, and i live in the sunny Southeast

It's easy and fun........

You didn't say what color your car was not that it will
make a major diffrence. You shouldn't have a issue
if your car has been taken care of! These are the
thing I used to debadge my trunklid.
1. 6# fishing line (slip behind letters and pull down)

2. GooGone (soak area to remove stickey)

3. ScratchX (rub out and scratches or imperfections
then a cleaner wax to do your entire trunklid)
Important to take your time and work carefully, you'll
enjoy the results.......LOL

shouldnt be a problem.. perfect timing do it while its hot in the summer easy to do and let it sit in sun to help fade over the next few months, and use some good wax in that area.
