Optional Roofs?

so i was cruisin down the 210 pasadena the other day light traffic until a camry decides to cut me off, which is fine i can get over that, but then a bolt from under his car comes up and slams my windshield leaving a nice scrape on the top of my roof aswell. I dont want to go through insurance and since ill have to be considering fixing/replacing my roof i want to know what other roofs are out there. i have a sunroof, but i was wondering if they make a roof i have seen thats all glass able to incorporate the sunroof? i did a search i didnt come up with any specific finds, so id really appreciate the input, thanks guys.

You got a scrape on your roof and you want to convert to a targa top? Interesting.

There is a lot of 'structure' built into a roof. You just can't takeoff a steel roof and replace it with a glass one and expect the car not to flex in weird ways. However.. if you do it post up!! It will look cool!

i dont think anyone wants to risk the structure of the chassis for a full glass roof.

wow this is a new kind of post... never heard of an optional roof before... the closest thing i have seen was a carbon fiber roof (like on the new m6) on a civic ek hatch way before the m6 was ever released... it looked pretty bad *** i must say....

I have never heard of anybody doing this, and would certainly wonder about its integrity. As others have said, the roof adds a lot of rigidity to your car. I am not sure what kind of mod one can do to make their roof totally glass, and not risk shattering it while taking an aggressive turn or something like that.

But if it is possible, and you do it, certainly share with us.
