[Poll] Thinking of doing only rear splash guards

I love the look of the OEM rear splash guards. However the front guards, to me, break up the line of the car and look "tacked on", so to speak*. I think the rear guards look great though. I'm just kind of concerned that the vehicle will look "incomplete" without the front guards.

Any photochopping gurus here that can do just rear spalsh guards on a coupe (BS, if possible)? What do you guys think, honestly.

* Yes, I know that they are in fact tacked on, but IMO the fronts don't look like an integral part of the car, kinda like sticking an aluminum ironing board on the trunk.

Well, it sounds like you want the splash guards in either case. So buy the full set (not sure how you would buy just the rears), put the rears on, and post up some pics

I have only the rears because I had the same viewpoint as you. My first coupe came with all splash guards installed, and it looked pretty good. On my second coupe, it came with no splash guards and I decided to just go with the rears only. In my opinion, same as yours, the front do break up the lines of the coupe. Your best bet would be get the OEM front lip and the rear splash guards. That's my setup and I think it looks just right.

Pics?

BTW, I ordered them from Chad@ininitispecialists this morning, so I guess this poll/thread is moot now.

I've thought about having the SGs molded in. I like the subtle effect they have, but there is no getting around the tacked-on look without molding them in. But I guess that's the case for a lot of aftermarket options as well.

I have wanted to paint the part of the SG, that wraps into the wheel-well, black so that it blends better. It would make a lot of difference on the front ones, IMO.
