Strife, so your front lip has been installed? How about the rear diffuser? Can't wait to see your car this Sunday!

yep, the N1 lip has been installed, I don't think I will get the KurumaZ diffuser in time as I have not received a shipping notice yet, I hope to get it by middle of next week, but it does come UNpainted, so I have to do some prep, before I can install

Yep....hope to see you and everyone again JL 30, during the BBQ/meet

From what I see, doublesided tape will not work, the only place you could apply the doublesided tape would be the wheel well area
I know nothing about body work, ...if I can figure it out....so can anyone

Also...if anyone is interested.....the color match was not perfect, the IP lip I got was a bit more "whiter" than my G's....my G is a year old now....maybe that's why it did not match
The fitment was pretty good...though there was a noticeable gap on both of the areas by the wheel well.... I think I can force it a bit to minimize the gaps.....anybody have some advice on this area??
You guys are awesome! Thanks for replying back. Do you gents happen to have pictures of where they require the drilling into the bumper? Someone mentioned they are drilled underneath the bumper?

Thank in advance.
You are both a gentlemen and a scholar.

data system grille is a bit different from the gialla..but its similar

silviaparts makes the gialla replica..

try silviaparts.com

^^but i heard someone say they are out of stock currently..try the marketplace though..

edit: oh yeh i dont think there is a replica for the ds grille

not to my knowledge at least

thanks alot. thats what i was looking for. i read somewhere about SP racing grille, but didnt know what SP meant.. now i know, haha, its Silviaparts.

anyone had this grille? how's the fitment? is silviaparts.com the cheapest place to get that? or are there other replicas or websites that i can get something like that for a good price.
the SP racing grille is $180 including shipping. thats not bad i guess.

from intensepower.com, they have the data system grille for
$260 including shipping..and the Gialla grille for $359 (now thats a lil steep).

i have the silviaparts grille and couldnt be happier. though there are quite a few people who are unhappy b/c of poor fitment. mine fits great. like i said, luck of the draw. but beware, with the sp grille you have to drill your own holes. not very difficult to do at all. if you dont feel comfortable drilling holes then take it to the body shop or get a gialla..

180 is a firm price unless you buy it from a member in the marketplace..

ebay has some imitations that claim to be silviaparts but i dont trust them..

i believe sp is the only place that carries the sp grille but dont hold me to that.

as for the gialla and data grilles, you can get them from more places than one but those prices are fairly firm as well..

dont forget paint will be around 75-100..

hope that helps..

I received my Desert Platinum lip today via UPS (Unopened Packages Shunned??)

I think they ran the box through a meat grinder. Check it out.

AND the best picture of all...

It sucked to see that sitting on my porch when I came home this evening. I was VERY surprised because the lip made it without a scratch (miracle?). One small baggie of hardware also held on for dear life because it made the journey safely as well. Now whether or not there were other baggies who weren't so lucky I don't know so I PM'ed Darren to find out.

A question for those of you who installed it.

What do you do with the pieces that fit into the fender well? To me it looks like it's going to be goofy looking having that flap on the end of the lip sitting in front of the black plastic wheel well housing.

If someone could put up detailed pictures of this lip installed that would be greeeeat

I do have to say this looks like a nice product and the paint matches well.
