Sup guys, a friend of mines who recently purchased a 06 IP coupe got an underbody neon light kit installed and even though i have never really thought of it for my G, i must admit that it looks kind of nice. I wanted to know how you guy's feel about this type of "mod"? is it just for riced out civics?

yea i know, in new york as well but he doesnt drive around with it just turns it on from time to time to show off i guess...so opinions....

it can look nice if done right. i hate it when i see them on cars that have the tube visible when they are driving around. looks nice when you only see the glow of the light on the ground. also it has to go around the whole car, not just the sides. I'd do it on mine, but i'd rather wait until i finish all the exterior mods i can think of. kind of a last mod for me. ^_^

i like it but it has to be done right, the ghetto shops really cant install it correctly, and also the ussually drill holes all over to install it, so make sure the ydont ruin your car with holes.

A neighbor of mine who lives 3 houses down also owns a G coupe and I believe he has underbody neon lights. Looked good to me when he was passing by. I rarely see him driving though.

Another friend of mine got one for his Subaru RS. I always bash on his car b/c it's an RS (not even a WRX) and he is strictly looks. He told me he got pulled over by NYPD due to his neons.

Basically it will attract unnecessary attention. Unless you have a bunch of police stickers on your windshield, a PBA card and a PBA badge, the cops will probably bust yer *****.
