UTR is not perfect fit. can someone help!

I just got UTR grill... and i thought i can take out the clip and put on the new one. but when i put on the new one. between the grill and the hood. theres a big gap...

i tried to insert it below the clip hole from the car... i cant put it in... do i need to cut it? it looks so different from others...

Take a deep breath and look about half way down the page, where youll find a topic that I posted a few days ago called "Review of UTR GTR coupe grill".

The guy you bought it off of took out the support bar in the center....its there for a reason. I actually just replaced the support bar in mine with an aluminum one (see the afromentioned thread for pictures of the old support bar and the new one I made)...and just threw away my old steel support bar last night. I think the garbage guy comes today, but if not I will see if I can dig it out of the trash for you.

If all else failts, you could always make one with a vise and a hand drill and some steel or aluminum strip.

It will probably look good for a while without the support bar, but more than likely it will begin to sag after a while.

I removed my support bar over 6 months ago and still looks great, but that's because I have the Gialla Grill and not the UTR one.

Good luck and if I find a solution, I'll let you know.
