Just wondering who has this lip and how their install is. The first time I had this lip installed it fell off. But I got it re-installed with brackets on the bottom of the lip attaching it to the underbody of my car. Is there any way to secure the top middle part of the lip to the bumper of the car? There's a gap that I have right now at the top middle part of the lip. It seems like you can't put double-sided tape on that top part 'cause it's not a flat surface. Any suggestions? I have two rivets holding the middle section to the bumper. My lip is also molded to the bumper. It took a lot of time and money but turned out great. I have my whole bumper setup for sale in the classifieds though...

 

Yeah, I don't plan on molding the lip to my car, considering the cost (I was quoted another $600 for the job). Could you explain to me the rivets to attach that middle part? I'm just trying to understand what options I have and what my installer can do and such. Thanks man.

 

You can use two rivets that go thru the lip and thru the bumper. This would require you to repaint the lip.

If you don't want to repaint then you may just want to glue a bracket to the center of the lip on the inside then drill the bracket into the bumper using fasteners you can adjust or access inside the bumper. That should secure the middle and close the gaps.
