my hood has scoops
does anyone know what to do when u have large scoops on a carbon fiber hood and afraid of water to damage the engine and its compartments i have purchased a VISRACING hood called the TERMINATOR great hood on the car just there is no cover to divert the water away from the compartments underneath the hood if anyone knows let me know

well, you could always make a set of block off plates for the rainy season. or just switch back to OEM like guidoguy mentioned above.

I live my scoop face the eliminates and never had any issues. The engine bay just gets dirtier faster. It's not a dialy driver but it is kept outside and have driven her in some downpours!

as long as it doesn't get sucked into the intake, you should be ok. Just have to keep that engine bay clean
I mean, is the intake filter widely exposed? It's not like your throttlebody is sitting there naked or anything.

It should not be a problem unless you have defective electrical parts, ignition wires etc. The engine is designed to take a certain amount of moisture. Heck, I hose mine off to get the dust off.
