I've always thought about that with that hood. Maybe just go back to stock hood during rainy season?

well, you could always make a set of block off plates for the rainy season. or just switch back to OEM like guidoguy mentioned above.

PM INfiniti4Life. He has that hood on his car!

I live my scoop face the eliminates and never had any issues. The engine bay just gets dirtier faster. It's not a dialy driver but it is kept outside and have driven her in some downpours!

as long as it doesn't get sucked into the intake, you should be ok. Just have to keep that engine bay clean

I mean, is the intake filter widely exposed? It's not like your throttlebody is sitting there naked or anything.

I'm sorry, but have you heard of punctuation? Surely, being able to afford a 33-38k car would mean that you have some form of education. This is, of course, completely disregarding the small fact that you misspelled FoRmula in your user name. This is a general rant, brought on by reading thousands of posts on numerous messageboards where a standard of intelligence is not adhered to. Kindly ignore if English is not your first language.

It should not be a problem unless you have defective electrical parts, ignition wires etc. The engine is designed to take a certain amount of moisture. Heck, I hose mine off to get the dust off.
