Here is my car with the OEM unpaint Seibon CF hood. May be is not much to some people but it is to me.

Sorry,you must be seeing things.I was not able to make it to the meet.You probablly saw my little twin sundeviljay.

 

I guess you havent seen a super charger under a hood with vents.When it is raining I don't think you would want to be with out the covers.

 

actually, it all depends on the mark/model of both your car and supercharger. The water will not cause hydolock (which everyone worries about) or electrical proeblms. Of course if you have a turbo right under the vent its not going to be good. What could go wring if a supercharger got wet? rust?

With the Vortech The vents are right there .As is my filter gets much dirtier than someone without vents.I know an engine will be fine when it gets wet.But yeah, some of us do like to keep our engines clean and with water hitting that belt,it will make a big mess.I did not get my Top Secret hood because of the supercharger,I had the hood first.But I am glad that is the hood I have.

 

Cant you just put some duct tape from the inside when it is raining or whenever you wash you car.
