How do you remove front & rear center console?

I'm trying to remove the front & rear center console in my coupe (where the emergency kit is). I don't see any screws or anything in the rear. Does this thing just pop in/out? How about the front? I have an 03 5AT. Any help is appreciated!

the rear just pops out. good idea to remove the rear bottom seat just so you can see what you are doing.

i have a 6mt, so can't help you there. proly held down with four screws, two near the rear and two hidden underneath the shifter somewhere.

I got the rear out no prob. Front middle console is bit harder. I have a 5AT btw. Do I need to remove the shift **** first & have the unit remove by lifting it up? ...or can I slide the middle unit back to remove?
