Re: Signal Mirror Installed

if you don't mind the look of adding a wide angle mirror lens, KW Muth makes universal signal mirror kit if people are interested.

Re: Signal Mirror Installed

Hey silverg35, who you got it from in Japan? via japanparts.com? Mind to let me know how long it took for them to ship you after you placed the order? I have just placed my order, the total including shipping to Toronto Canada is JPY 34737. Where are you and what was your total?

As for the instructions to install, yeah, cadillaccarl is the one to talk to, you do get the instructions that comes with the covers don't you?

G35: Black with Willow/Canadian Premium Package.
Z3: Silver with Red leather interior.

Re: Signal Mirror Installed

Stalker: I did get the mirrors from japanparts. My total was 41000 jpy because I also bought the clear corners. I'm located in chicago area. I received my parts within 4 days after the payment. By the way, it does come with the instruction but it's in japanese. My grandpa speaks and reads japanese but I'm reluctant to ask him...they don't know I'm modding my g. Oh well...I guess I'm figure something out.

Re: Signal Mirror Installed

Thanks for the info silverG. It took only 4 days after you place the order? That was fast!! Hm...that means I could be getting it early next week, can't wait.

There should be some pictures in the instructions as well, and that's what cadillaccarl followed to install his way back. Japanparts sent me scan pictures of 2 pages of the instruction and I showed it to carl, he said it actually looked different then his, maybe ours is an updated version...in any case, any place who does mods should be able to put the cover on, and that's probably what I am gonna do after I got mine.

Cheers

Z3: Silver with Red leather interior.

Re: Signal Mirror Installed

I have posted my instructions with pictures at http://home1.gte.net/res0bsc9/g35/signalmirrors.html

If you try this project, these will be a big help to go with the Japanese instructions.

Re: Signal Mirror Installed

I don't think so, since the shape of the sedan mirror looked quite different from the coupe one.
