i just got my JDM 06 tails and they are hella nice. i like the look better then the 03 - 05. and they do have a little darker hint of red also..

Got mine as well this week. Installed them yesterday. New BlueBat's overlays should've arrived today. I'll have those installed on Saturday. Note: the JDM tails don't have the lights on the outer edges of the housings like the '06 USDM tails. You could drill out the hole which is pre-marked and wire the socket from a set of USDM tails. The trunk release is also not a straight PNP. There is a very minor modification required for the wiring.

yea i noticed that but im hella lazy to drill into new tail lights i wanna hook the trunk button up but im not good with wiring ..

Ooops, I should clarify that. The is some very minor modification required for the wiring if you have an '06 coupe. A bit more work is required if you have an '03-'05 but it's not difficult.

u think there is a way to wire it up to where the amber turn signal stays lit and than also blink as well? i seen it done on civics but i dont know if that would look right on a g35 what do u guys think?

I'm sure it's possible. I don't think I'd like the way that would look. I like the fact that they look just like USDM tails except when illuminated or upon close inspection.

Don't have a pic of it. I replaced the plastic overlay with the symbol and hash marks with a piece of 1/8" opaque black acrylic. I still need to insert an LED to illuminate the face at night. It looks like a Movado watch without the diamond.

i honestly like the jdm tails! i think you just need better pics of it looks good man! i like how our tail lights look period! they are so distinctive at night with all those LEDs, just amazing!
